National Office Supplies Chain
Scenario
The customer needed to replatform their production Oracle ERP system with minimal downtime as the system supports transaction feeds from thousands of retail stores and web transactions. The size of the database was 18 TB; Cybernoor was able to complete the migration in less than 24 hours. The customer migrated from an Intel Linux-based system to a Solaris SPARC-based system. The largest concern was application downtime, and ensuring the new platform performed better than the existing system.
Solution
Cybernoor optimized the migration to fit in under a 24-hour window. We also assisted in an ILM and Application Upgrade Strategy. Both factors coupled with our performance expertise significantly reduced the process downtime and ensured data integrity.
